So, you are one of the lucky people out there that have found someone so special and so perfect for you that you feel like your lives won’t be complete without one another!  Congratulations!  This can be the most memorable day of your entire lives!  It can also be a little stressful while planning your greatest adventure!

I believe that your wedding day should reflect the joy and love that you want to keep forever.  Lets face it, weddings can be crazy!  There’s people running around trying to make sure everything is perfect.  The last thing you want to happen is to have no physical memories of the beautiful day that you created.  That is where I come in.

Over the years I have photographed many weddings.  Some were really large productions with hundreds of guests and some were just as beautiful being small and personalized.  I come home and tell my wife after every wedding I shoot that I love her and just really enjoy being a part of that energy and atmosphere of hope, excitement, beauty, and love.  It really is the best part of my job.  (Oh!  And I really like wedding cake too!)

The sad part about our memories is that with time they tend to fade.  They become lost in the bustle of daily lives and that special day seems to slip away from us as time goes on.  My favorite memories of my own wedding are the pictures we have to recount the day.  It rained on our wedding day and I have this one image of my wife smiling and running through the trees with mud on the bottom of her dress as she looked back at me.  Those little in-between moments are what keep our memories alive.

Its More Than “I DO”

My favorite type of wedding to shoot is a story book wedding.  This is where I get to capture all of those in-between moments as the Bride and Groom are getting ready.  This is where emotions are high and the images display the buildup to the climactic moment.  I love capturing the faces of people smiling in the audience and the joy and love on the bride and grooms faces as they exchange vows.  And the kiss!  Oh that is one of my favorite parts.  (Just to warn you, I do tend to tear up during that moment!)  It’s magical and perfect every single time.

After the marriage I try to capture as much of the day and night as possible.  I run around taking candid style photos of the events and people that came to show you they love you!  You want to remember people laughing, crying, dancing, singing, drinking, and enjoying the celebration!  So a few years from now when you look through the Personalized Story Book I have created you can relive that day in its entirety.

Is Simple Okay Too?
